If you’re looking for metal & rock drum samples that sound like a drummer with a real drumkit behind them, Soundblind Drums delivers world class drum sample libraries and software built for modern heavy music.
Our flagship libraries Powerkit and Counterkit are perfect examples of our dedication to creating unique drum sounds and mix-ready options to be a catalyst for music creation. They are aggressive, dynamic, massive, and have world class drum rooms to give producers the best sounding drum samples that will cut through any mix.
Whether you write or mix metal, rock, hardcore, prog, or anything in between, Soundblind Drums libraries are crafted to be mix-ready right out of the box. They are great for beginners and advanced producers alike. While many of our mix-ready presets sound like a polished drum mix, they have just enough processing so you aren't cornered into a certain mix route. They contain many adjustable parameters to give your specific spin on our drum samples.
When we create a drum library, we're looking to capture the character of each individual hit, and refine each velocity layer to create realism. That includes many round robins, meticulous detail, and dedicated attention into making sure our drum libraries sound musical and are studio grade quality.
Our newest metal & rock drum library for 2025 is Powerkit - the signature drum library of Matt Guglielmo of The Acacia Strain and END. This library is engineered for superior quality, room mic options, dynamics, and pure aggression. Modern metal requires transient heavy drums with body, detailed character, and a sizzling top end that adds polish - and Powerkit delivers exactly that with it's 39 mix-ready preset options.
Counterkit, our debut drum library - the signature drum library of Kyle Brownlee of Counterparts - is a complete one-stop drum sample set for modern metal and metalcore. With 13 mix-ready presets crafted for the most aggressive breakdowns to the softest ambient clean guitars, Counterkit is extremely versatile and a Soundblind Drums best seller.
Soundblind Drums was built from the desire to have new creative tools to inspire and help foster songwriting and music production without getting stuck and distracted by the drum mix - one of the hardest instruments to mix. We're confident that Powerkit and Counterkit can assist in your creative process, and we'd love to hear what you create using them!
